Where do you perform?
I’m based in Brisbane and perform across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Tweed Heads and surrounding areas. If your event is outside these areas, please feel free to contact me and I can discuss availability and travel arrangements.
How long do you usually perform for?
Performance times can vary depending on your event. Whether you need music for a ceremony, guest arrival, cocktail hour, reception, dinner or a special performance, we can discuss the timing that best suits your plans.
Do I need to pay more if my wedding or event runs longer than the time I booked?
Yes. Your booking covers the performance time agreed in advance. If your event runs beyond the booked time and you would like me to continue performing, additional performance time will be charged accordingly. If you know in advance that your event may run longer, please let me know so we can discuss the timing and arrange your booking accordingly. ♡
Can I choose the music?
Absolutely. I have a repertoire of 550+ songs, and you are welcome to choose your favourite pieces. If you’re not sure what music would suit your event, I’m also happy to help create a playlist for you.
What happens if the timing changes on the day?
Wedding and event timings can sometimes change. I simply ask that you have one designated person — such as your celebrant, coordinator, family member or trusted friend — available to communicate any changes or give me a signal when it is time to start or finish a piece of music.
Do you perform outdoors?
Yes. For outdoor performances, I require a suitable covered or shaded area to protect me, my violin and equipment from rain and direct sun. For performances lasting more than 30 minutes, protection from strong sun or heat is particularly important.
Can you perform for just the ceremony?
Yes, absolutely. You can book me for just your wedding ceremony, whether you would like music for guest arrival, the processional, signing, recessional, or selected parts of the ceremony.
Can I send you a song I would like you to consider?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to send me a song you would love to have performed at your wedding or event. I’ll be happy to check whether I can perform it and prepare it especially for your occasion. Some songs are relatively simple to prepare, while others may require much more time and work, depending on whether a suitable arrangement or backing track is available. For less common songs, I may need to create or adapt the arrangement or prepare a backing track myself. For this reason, preparation time can vary from song to song, so please send your request well in advance of your event. ♡
Are you a professional violinist?
Yes. I am a professionally trained violinist and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from a prestigious Music Academy in Ukraine, where I received a comprehensive professional music education with a strong focus on performance. I have more than 25 years of professional experience, performing in concerts across different countries, as well as at weddings, events and special occasions.
Do you provide your own sound equipment?
Yes, I provide my own sound system for my performances. I have different setup options depending on the size and style of your event, from a compact setup for smaller or intimate occasions to a larger sound system for bigger events. If your venue does not have access to electricity, I can also arrange a portable battery-powered setup, where required.
